You can look away from your shadow. That doesn’t mean it has stopped moving.
My Shadow Moves Differently Than I Do (Episode 3) is the third installment of Pale Lantern Media’s original animated supernatural horror series. The story follows a residential pool technician whose ordinary working life is disrupted by a shadow that moves independently of his body. Presented through atmospheric narration and dark comic-book animation, the series explores the fear of something familiar becoming impossible to trust. Continue the story with Episode 3, or begin with the first episode to follow the mystery from its unsettling opening.

It started with a service call and something that should have been impossible. A pool technician with twelve years of experience noticed his shadow holding a position his body wasn’t making. Against the familiar backdrop of concrete, sunlight, and pool water, his own outline became something he could no longer explain.
Episode 3 continues the supernatural horror story introduced in the first two installments. Watch the embedded video above to experience the next part in sequence.

The Fear Behind a Shadow That Moves on Its Own
A shadow is supposed to be predictable. It changes with the light and follows the body casting it. Most of the time, it barely earns a second glance. That familiar relationship is the foundation of My Shadow Moves Differently Than I Do. When a shadow begins acting independently, even standing in daylight becomes an unsettling idea.
The series brings that fear into an ordinary working environment. Its central character is someone accustomed to noticing details, recognizing problems, and finding practical explanations. The opening encounter presents something outside that experience: a shape that belongs to him, behaving as though it doesn’t.
Animated Horror With a Dark Graphic-Novel Look
Pale Lantern Media combines supernatural storytelling with comic-book visuals, dramatic lighting, controlled color, and atmospheric narration. The result is a horror series where shadows serve as both part of the setting and the source of its central mystery. Familiar places take on a different feeling when the darkness inside them deserves closer attention.
